First Italian edition of Lewis Bayley’s „Practice of Piety“. Bayley (or Balyly, 1565–1631) was a Welsh spiritualist and became bishop of Bangor in Scotland. With ms. owner’s entry „Solara Maria Flugi de Aspermont“ and „St. Moritz 1778“ on flyleaf. The Flugi von Aspermont were a noble family in the 17th and 18th century, originating from the Upper Engadine. – Some browning or spotting, few pages used by handling/fingering.
