First edition. Travel account with detailed descriptions of the mineralogical characteristics, written by the Russian mineralogist and geologist Grégoire Comte de Razoumowsky (1759–1837). Razoumowsky lived in Lausanne from 1782 to 1793 and was one of the first geologists who took an interest in the Swiss alps. – HBLS V, 544; ÖBL 8, 448. – Some hinges slightly loose, very few stains inside.
