One of 95 numbered copies on vélin d’Arches of a total limited edition of 100 trade copies, signed by the author and the artist. Georges Hugnet (1906-1974) created his 30 poems in the late 1920ies, initially as a collaborative project together with Gertrude Stein. They separated after some quarrels on the project. In 1933, Hugnet finally published the book with a printed dedication to the French poet Marcelle Ferry with whom he had a liason in the early 1930ies. – Cramer 2; Dupin 10-12.
