Collection of Caesar’s writings based on the library of Dutch historiographer Johann Isaak Pontanus (1571–1639). The text was edited by Joseph Justus Scaliger (1540–1609), one of the most recognised philologists of his time and son of Italian humanist Julius Caesar Scaliger (1484–1558). The included texts are „de bello Gallico“, „de bello civili“, „de bello Alexandrino“, „de bello Africo“, „de bello Hispaniensi“.
