First edition. One of 675 numbered copies of a total limited edition of 900. Album with 20 short pieces for voice and accompanying piano, written between March 14 and May 20, 1914. In his programmatic foreword, Satie states laconically: „J’y ai mis tout ce que je connais sur l’ennui“ and „Je dédie ce choral à ceux qui ne m’aiment pas.“ – Title leaf and some other leaves with small marginal defects.
