One of 1500 numbered copies on vélin blanc de Boucher de Docelles of a total limited edition of 1600. From the collection of the St. Gall publisher Henry Tschudy (1882–1961) with his bookplate on first paste-down. Bound in an exquisite luxury binding by the bookbinder Emil Kretz (1896–1960), from 1926 until his death teacher for bookbinding at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel. Hermine David (1886–1970) was a French artist and illustrator, descendant of the painter Jacques Louis David (1748–1825). – Mint. – Best.-Nr. 26818
