One of 500 numbered copies on greyish Maillol/Gonin paper. Signed in the colophon by Maillol. The Swiss bookbinder Friedhold Morf (1901-1960) was a student of F. H. Ehmcke in Munich. In 1933, he returned to Switzerland, where he became a teacher for bookbinding at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich. – (Added:) Separate suite of 49 woodcuts (2 repeated) on single leaves. 8vo.
