All issues of this rare art magazine, published in hand-stapled Xerox copies by the Dutch artist Herman de Vries (b. 1931) in 200 to 320 handnumbered copies and, from no. 2/3 onwards subtitled „review for a new conception in art and culture“. The issue number 11/12 was not published by de Vries but by the architects Willem Graatsma and Jan Slothouber in 1976 only and is not part of the series. – No. 1 (January 1965): Served as exhibition catalogue for „Aktuell 65“ at the Aktuell Gallery in Berne with a text by Herman de Vries „visual information“ in German, Dutch, English and French. Printed in 200 copies only. – No. 2/3 (May 1965): Contains the folded catalogue of the zero avantgarde exibition at the studio of Lucio Fontana in Venezia. Texts by Henri Chopin, Dieter Roth (“sample pages for a prepared webster for John Cage“), Dietrich Sauerbier, Günter Uecker and many others. Original contributions by Wybrand Ganzevoort and Herman de Vries. – No. 4 (November 1965): Texts by Frank J. Malina by György Ligeti (“symphonic poem for 100 metronomes“) and many others. Visual poems by Herman de Vries, Otto Piene, Katja Tiel, Mathias Goeritz, Dom Sylvester Houédard, and Zwollo. Original contributions by Bernard Aubertin (burnt matches), Lucio Fontana (sheet with torn-out portion, and Mathias Goeritz (sheet with 3 folds). – No. 5/6 (April 1966): With focus on Berne as center of Swiss experimental art. Illustrations by Christian Megert, Rolf Geissbühler, Markus Raetz, Bendicht Fivian, Ueli Berger, Herbert Distel, Rolf Weber, May Fasnacht, Bernhard Lüthi. Original contributions by Markus Raetz (2 collages), Christian Megert, Bendicht Fivian, and Raymund Girke. Followed by „stuttgarter beiträge“, i.e. visual texts by Max Bense, Klaus Burkhardt, Herman de Vries/Siegfried Cremer, Hansjörg Mayer, Frieder Nake, Georg Nees, and Carlo Bellioli. – No. 7/8 (February 1967): Texts by Carlo Bellioli (visual poem), Rolf Geissbühler, Herman de Vries, Harmen Deman (visual poem) and many others. Two original contributions by Herman de Vries. – No. 9: (Summer 1967): Completely textless issue with monochrome original contributions by Ad Reinhardt (black paper), Mathias Goeritz (gold paper), and Herman de Vries (white paper). – No. 10 (November 1967): Stitched-in at the beginning: „in memoriam Ad Reinhardt“ by Herman de Vries, a black rectangle on portion of white sheet.
